Job summary

SSE plc is seeking a Senior Contract Manager to join the Procurement and Commercial Team within the Transmission Development Directorate. You will focus on onshore development projects and manage procurement activities for a portfolio of high-value capital schemes.

The role requires experience with NEC/FIDIC/LOGIC contracts, stakeholder engagement, and cost management. Aberdeen/Glasgow/Inverness/Perth locations with 50% travel are anticipated.

Qualifications

• Experience developing procurement strategies for main package contracts.
• Proven track record of procuring and managing high-value capital projects.
• Experience with UK/regulatory procurement frameworks and governance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Procurement and Commercial Manager in delivering procurement services for development projects.
• Lead procurement activities from invitation to tender to contract award and delivery.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions and manage main package contracts.
