SSE plc is seeking a Contract Manager within the Procurement & Commercial team to support Network Operations in Scotland. You will manage pre- and post-contract procurement and commercial activities for a £600-£700m portfolio, with project values up to £70-80m, and help secure value for money for consumers.
The role suits a Quantity Surveying professional with client or contractor side experience; NEC knowledge is advantageous.
Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of the following locations :Aberdeen, Inverness, Glasgow and Perth
Salary: £51,600- £77,400 + car /car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Contract Managers to join our Procurement and Commercial (P&C) team within our Supply Chain team, directly supporting the Network Operations team.
You will provide the necessary pre and post contract procurement and commercial support to a variety of new Contracts within the Network Operations space, supporting the management of a £600-700m portfolio of projects ranging in value up to £70-80m. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within the SSE team and contribute to the continued growth of this area of the business.
This role would suit someone from a Quantity Surveying background with experience working either Client or Contractor side, no specific experience working in Energy sector is required but would be advantageous.
