Job summary

Hitachi Energy UK Limited in Birmingham is seeking a seasoned Contract Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of contracts within our energy projects. You will partner with project management, legal, sales, and procurement to drive compliant and commercially successful outcomes.

The role requires strong negotiation, risk assessment, and excellent stakeholder management, with experience in energy, infrastructure, or related industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field is required.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex contracts in energy or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial terms.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and administer contracts with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy policies and legal requirements.
• Mitigate risks and provide guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Monitor performance, milestones, and payments throughout project lifecycle.
