BT Group is seeking a Commercial & Operations Specialist to drive operational simplicity, align resource costs with workstreams, and provide accurate forecasts for financial planning. You will streamline budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, collaborating with senior leaders and project managers to support strategic decisions and financial resilience across BT Group.

• Storytelling with data: strong skills in building the case for change, drawing on data and analytical techniques where appropriate, and communicating this to business audiences.
• Organised & detail-orientated - strong understanding of incoming funding and how you manage the spend/costs throughout the year.
• Stakeholder management - you will meet scorecard KPIs and work with other teams as the trusted commercial partner/SME for units.

Responsabilidades

• Budget Management: ensure resources are allocated and accounted for within budget, with effective change control and reporting.
• Accurate Forecasting: lead monthly forecasts aligned with budgets, collaborating with unit leads and managers to ensure reliability.
• Effective Billing: ensure units recover costs in line with approved funding.
• Comprehensive Financial Reporting: produce clear financial reports with accuracy.
• Proactive Risk Management: identify, track and report financial risks, issues, and opportunities.
• Business Operations: lead or support on operations initiatives, commercial or otherwise.
