Job summary

Accept Recruitment is seeking a Commercial Manager in Wolverhampton to lead a three‑person commercial team and manage a portfolio of key accounts. The role covers the full RFQ and quotation process, pricing control, contract reviews and margin monitoring, with cross‑functional collaboration across Quality, Engineering and Production.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in commercial roles within engineering/manufacturing, proven team leadership, and a track record of growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a commercial, account management or internal sales role within engineering/manufacturing.
• Experience leading or supervising a team and delivering growth.
• Proven track record managing key accounts and achieving targets.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Experience quoting and pricing bespoke or low‑volume manufactured components.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a commercial team of three.
• Own a portfolio of key accounts and drive growth targets.
• Own RFQ and quotation process end to end with targets met.
• Review quotations and pricing within authority, ensuring margins.
• Own contract review process, PO acceptance and terms flow-down.
• Monitor margin vs. quote, lead price negotiations and surcharges.
• Report enquiry levels, quote conversion, orderbook and forecast.
• Act as senior escalation point for customer commercial issues.
• Support new business development, including customer visits.
• Ensure commercial processes comply with AS9100, NADCAP and export controls.
