Job summary

Adler and Allan is seeking a Commercial Manager to drive commercial performance across its RICs portfolio. You will oversee contractual obligations, governance and risk management while partnering with Business Unit Directors, Project Managers and Finance to maximise profitability.

You will lead negotiations, support variations and ensure effective change control across multiple projects, while developing commercial capability and improving tools and processes to deliver sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial management experience in consultancy, engineering, infrastructure or regulated industries.
• Strong contract management, negotiation skills and risk awareness.
• Experience with NEC contracts and commercial risk is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract management across the portfolio, ensuring obligations and risks are managed.
• Drive margin improvement and monitor profitability against targets.
• Oversee change control, variations, and recovery of additional fees.
• Ensure bids and projects comply with governance and delegated authority.
• Provide commercial support and challenge to senior directors and project managers.
• Coach teams on commercial best practice and drive process improvements.
