Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead commercial performance across designated contracts, in a collaborative, international organisation. You will identify risks and opportunities, drive profitability and ensure contractual compliance, working with Finance, Operations and senior leadership.

Responsibilities include leading negotiations, supporting operational teams, and mentoring the commercial team while upholding governance and CSR commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Lead, or similar role.
• Commercial awareness with profitability, cost control and financial performance.
• Experience managing risks, opportunities, contracts and business performance.
• Strong analytical skills with financial information and data analysis.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to negotiate and constructively challenge when required.
• Experience collaborating with operational teams for sound commercial outcomes.
• Attention to detail with a structured, organised approach.
• Proficiency with digital systems and commercial management tools.
• Experience in a commercially focused environment with financial or contractual accountability.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of commercial performance across designated activities and contracts.
• Identify, assess and manage commercial risks and opportunities to maximise profitability.
• Support the development and delivery of commercial strategies that drive sustainable growth.
• Balance commercial opportunities with contractual obligations and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Health & Safety to achieve objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Lead commercial discussions, negotiations and dispute resolution as required.
• Provide commercial guidance and support to operational teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and governance.
• Uphold the organisation's values, ethics, health & safety, and CSR commitments.
• Utilise digital systems and tools to monitor and improve performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for commercial outcomes.
• Lead, support and develop members of the commercial team.
