Job summary

Adler and Allan is seeking a Commercial Manager in Leeds to drive commercial performance across the RICs portfolio through contract management, governance, margin improvement and risk management. Working closely with Business Unit Directors, Project Managers and Finance teams, the role will help maximise profitability and strengthen commercial controls.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial management experience within consultancy, engineering, infrastructure or regulated industries.
• Strong contract management and negotiation skills with an understanding of NEC contracts.
• Strong financial and analytical capability plus stakeholder management ability.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial performance across the RICs portfolio through contract management and governance.
• Identify opportunities to improve margins and manage risk across projects and frameworks.
• Lead change control activities, securing variations and additional fees where appropriate.
• Ensure governance, delegated authority, and compliant terms across bids and projects.
• Provide commercial support to Business Unit Directors and Project Managers, forecast performance, WIP, debt and cash generation, and drive recovery plans.
