Job summary

Adler & Allan Ltd in Leeds is seeking a Commercial Manager to drive commercial performance across the RICs portfolio through contract management, governance, margin improvement and risk management.

You will work closely with Business Unit Directors, Project Managers and Finance teams to maximise profitability, maintain control of WIP and cash generation, and develop commercial capability across the business.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial management experience within consultancy, engineering, infrastructure or regulated industries.
• Strong contract management and negotiation skills with understanding of NEC contracts.
• Strong financial and analytical capability and stakeholder management.
• Experience in Water, Energy, Utilities or Environmental sectors advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract management across the portfolio and embed governance.
• Drive margin improvement and monitor profitability.
• Establish change control processes and secure variations.
• Provide commercial governance and forecasting, WIP and cash management.
• Coach teams and develop commercial capability.
