Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Clinical Supply Chain Manager in Reading to shape end‑to‑end supply strategies for new clinical trials. You will translate study protocols into robust supply plans and ensure alignment with quality standards and study timelines.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners, oversee packaging campaigns, IRT usage, and budget tracking, while maintaining regulatory compliance and proactive risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or business preferred but not essential.
• 3–5 years experience in Clinical Trials is essential.
• 3–5 years experience in Clinical Supply Chain Management is essential.
• Ability to demonstrate good project management skills.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong English communication and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret clinical trial protocols to create and execute a supply chain solution.
• Create master English label text per regulatory framework (e.g. Annex 13).
• Maintain demand forecasts and packaging plans to ensure availability.
• Coordinate packaging campaigns with vendors and oversee on-time delivery.
• Set up and monitor study IRT systems to manage inventory.
• Develop distribution plans and oversee vendor execution.
• Ensure proactive independent work to deliver materials on time.
• Track budgets to ensure alignment with client quotations.
• Maintain training compliance and apply GxP requirements.
• Stay up to date with regulatory and quality standards (GxP).
• Lead client/vendor meetings to discuss supply chain topics and status.
• Create Temperature Excursion management plan.
• Review and assess Temperature Excursions for IQVIA trials.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigations.
