Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification.
• Significant experience in a UK accountancy practice environment.
• Proven track record of growing a client portfolio.
• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on revenue, profitability and client value.
• Demonstrable leadership experience and ability to develop teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to engage with senior clients.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach to business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary senior contact for a portfolio of high-value clients and build lasting relationships.
• Drive client satisfaction, retention and long-term account growth.
• Own portfolio performance including billing, pricing, profitability and commercial outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and increase fee income.
• Lead onboarding and transition of complex client engagements.
• Provide guidance on complex accounting and advisory matters.
• Mentor and develop client service teams and promote continuous improvement.
• Oversee workflow, resource planning and service delivery standards.
• Monitor portfolio performance, risks and commercial opportunities for senior leadership.
• Contribute to business development, operational improvements and strategic growth plans.
