Reed Practice in Suffolk is partnering with a growing independent accountancy firm to recruit an experienced Client Manager. You will own a diverse portfolio of clients, building trusted relationships and delivering proactive business advice.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a diverse client portfolio in accountancy practice.
• Proven supervisory or team leadership responsibilities.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Up-to-date technical accounting knowledge and taxation matters.
• Passion for developing others and contributing to a collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of clients across sectors.
• Provide expert accounting and taxation guidance with support from specialists.
• Review client accounts prepared by junior staff.
• Plan and allocate workflow across the team.
• Mentor trainees and support career development.
• Identify client growth opportunities with Partners.
• Oversee self-assessment tax returns initially, with transition plan.
