Job summary

Reed Practice is partnering with a Suffolk accountancy firm to recruit an experienced Client Manager. You will own a diverse client portfolio, advise on accounting and taxation, review accounts, and mentor junior staff within a collaborative, growing regional firm.

Qualifications

• Portfolio management experience required.
• Demonstrated supervisory or managerial responsibility.
• Strong client relationship skills and communication.
• Up-to-date technical accounting knowledge.
• Passion for developing and supporting others.

Responsibilities

• Own a diverse client portfolio across sole traders, partnerships, and companies.
• Advise on accounting and taxation matters with tax-team support.
• Review accounts and mentor junior team members.
• Plan and allocate workflow across the team.
• Develop trainees and support career progression.
• Identify opportunities for client growth with Directors/Partners.
• Initially oversee Self-Assessment tax returns, transitioning duties later.
