Job summary

SSE is seeking an experienced Business Change Manager to join the Bridge Transformation Programme. You will shape change initiatives across people, processes and technology and partner with stakeholders to drive adoption and real business benefits.

The role offers base locations across the UK with 50% on-site requirement, a salary of £44,000–£65,900 plus a performance-related bonus and comprehensive benefits. Fixed-term, full-time with flexible first options.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading business change across large-scale transformation programmes.
• Strong knowledge of change management methodologies and governance frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and engagement with senior leaders.
• Experience in regulated or operationally complex environments.
• Proactive and innovative mindset with continuous improvement focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate change initiatives through the Business Change Framework to drive value.
• Design structured change journeys that help teams navigate new ways of working.
• Partner with training to develop engaging learning solutions for colleagues.
• Build relationships across the business and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders.
• Foster collaboration and continuous improvement as change embeds into business-as-usual operations.
