Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Project Communications Specialist on a 6-month interim basis to support a major change programme. This hands-on role requires someone who can hit the ground running, assess priorities quickly, and deliver effective communications across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in change communications, transformation and internal engagement, with strong copywriting and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in change communications, transformation, and internal engagement.
• Excellent copywriting and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and advise senior stakeholders.
• Experience in public sector or large-scale transformation would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver communications and engagement plans for change projects.
• Conduct rapid communications audits and identify priority/high-risk programmes.
• Work closely with project and programme managers and key stakeholders.
• Create clear, engaging internal communications and content.
• Advise teams on stakeholder engagement and change communications.
• Support employee understanding, engagement and adoption of change.
• Introduce effective communications planning and identify quick-win opportunities.
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
