M&G is seeking a Category Manager to own the Investment Technology and Data category, acting as an internal commercial consultant. The postholder will shape the category strategy, run negotiations, and drive cost reduction across the supply base.

As part of a procurement transformation, the role requires partnering with senior stakeholders to influence demand, specification, and supplier selection, delivering measurable value for the business.

Responsabilidades

• Build, own and execute the category strategy for Investment Technology and Data, based on market knowledge and vendor models.
• Maintain living category plans with market analysis, demand profiling and savings opportunities.
• Develop commercial strategies for key vendors ahead of renewal to gain favorable terms.
• Lead high-value sourcing events and negotiations with incumbents.
• Manage senior supplier relationships under commercial pressure.
• Design sourcing events and evaluation criteria based on value and risk.
• Introduce competitive tension in renewals and new commitments with structured market engagement.
