Job summary

Marshall Motor Group is expanding its procurement team and seeks a Category Buyer to support category strategies across Buildings, FM, IT, Marketing and Professional Services. You will drive value through market insights, tender activity and supplier negotiations while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

You will work autonomously within a collaborative team, analyzing data, spotting opportunities, and contributing to governance and policy improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience across end-to-end procurement processes.
• Studying towards a professional procurement qualification (e.g., CIPS) desirable.
• Experience using Source-to-Pay systems, ideally Coupa.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to mitigate supply chain risks.
• Lead tender and renewal initiatives to deliver value.
• Support commercial and contractual strategies and negotiations.
• Collaborate with Governance on contract management and supplier relations.
• Build internal and external relationships.
• Develop reporting on supplier performance against metrics.
• Support governance frameworks and procurement policy development.
