Job summary

ManpowerGroup Talent Solutions is recruiting a Category Buyer for an industry-leading manufacturer in the UK. You will manage supplier relationships, support contract negotiations, tenders, and RFIs, and drive supplier agreements to deliver cost-effectiveness and quality.

This role focuses on procurement across key spend areas, with opportunities to shape sourcing strategies and contribute to major projects within a company known for innovation and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, supplier selection and tender management.
• Ability to engage and manage supplier relationships and contracts.
• Knowledge of indirect procurement, supplier performance, and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Support RFIs, RFQs, and ITT documents for procurement.
• Lead tenders and negotiations from start to finish.
• Source new suppliers and materials to support growth and innovation.
• Negotiate and implement supplier agreements ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
