Job summary

Qualifications

• This role requires a strong background in hard FM/engineering environments.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and external contractors.
• Proven ability to drive compliance, asset management and maintenance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of maintenance and engineering services across the campus estate.
• Managing planned and reactive maintenance activities to ensure service continuity.
• Driving statutory and regulatory compliance across building services and engineering systems.
• Overseeing external contractors and service providers to ensure quality, safety, and value for money.
• Providing technical expertise on building services, infrastructure, and asset performance.
• Supporting budget management, asset planning, and ongoing estate development programmes.
• Developing collaborative relationships across operational departments and key stakeholders.
• Managing and developing the support team ensuring outdoor spaces are maintained to a high standard.
• Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, efficiency, sustainability, and customer experience.
