Job summary

Citrus Recruit recruits on behalf of a well-established employer seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth of an exclusive laser cutting/welding and cleaning product in the UK.

Lead the full 360 sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with travel across the UK and Europe. You’ll collaborate with engineering to understand capabilities and deliver compelling demonstrations to industrial customers.

Qualifications

• Sales/BD experience within laser cutting/welding or similar engineering products.
• Proven track record of bringing on new business and growing accounts.
• Full driving license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Build a sales pipeline for a new laser welding/cutting or cleaning product.
• Meetings with customers in the UK and Europe to secure opportunities.
• Develop, maintain and execute a territory plan; engage with engineering on tech.
• Lead generation and qualification; handle inbound inquiries and prepare quotes.
• Negotiate and close orders from sales activity.
• Attend networking events and customer meetings; provide product demonstrations.
• Utilise CRM, SAP and Excel to track activities and forecasts.
