Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration preferred.
5+ years of experience, 6+ years preferred in a related role.
Experience in financial analysis, sales and negotiation is required.
Knowledge of Wesco's industry, customers, suppliers and competitors is important.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Willingness to travel 50% - 75%.

Responsibilities

Identifies, evaluates, and develops new business opportunities to expand profitability.
Retains and grows existing relationships, product lines, or market segments, and secures new business from prospects.
Oversees development and research activities to build on the Company's strengths and identify new markets.
Establishes relationships with potential customers and suppliers and arranges meetings with Wesco representatives.
Calls on existing or prospective customers within the business development framework.
Represents Wesco in acquisitions, partnerships, alliances, joint ventures, and startups.
Conducts rollout meetings at new and key global account locations.
Leads and nurtures local implementation teams (LIT).
Documents cost savings related to spend and value-add services programs.
