Job summary

Dumfries & Galloway College on the Dumfries Campus is seeking a full-time Business Development Assistant to join the External Development and Commercial Team. The role supports the development of the college's commercial activity, aims to achieve income targets, promote opportunities and assist marketing initiatives.

You will engage with customers, manage CRM activities, prepare reports, and help deliver funded programmes and professional courses.

Qualifications

• SCQF Level 6 education or equivalent skills.
• Experience in a sales/development role is preferred.
• Good/Excellent digital skills with a willingness to continuously improve digital competencies.
• Strong customer service / organisation / teamworking / relationship building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support initiatives to engage existing and new customers.
• Assist a strategic sales engagement approach to maximise commercial returns.
• Progress day-to-day account management initiatives to satisfy commercial customers.
• Work with marketing to drive commercial activity.
• Be an administrator for CRM and other information management systems.
• Prepare and present reports to quantify business development against KPIs.
• Support achievement of Scottish Funding Council funded learning credits.
