Job summary

Westone Housing Ltd in Peterborough is seeking an experienced Bid Writer to coordinate and produce high-quality tender submissions across Public Sector, Housing, and related services.

You will work with operational and commercial teams, manage deadlines, maintain the bid library and support procurement processes. The role offers hybrid working after probation, a competitive salary of £30,000–£40,000, a pension scheme and 28 days annual leave.

Qualifications

• Experience writing bids and proposals for public sector contracts.
• Knowledge of procurement processes in public sector and housing.
• Excellent written communication and proofreading skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and submission of SQs, PQQs, ITTs and framework applications.
• Write high-quality, persuasive and tailored tender responses.
• Manage multiple bid opportunities and submission deadlines.
• Coordinate contributions from operational, commercial and support teams.
• Maintain and improve the bid library and case studies.
• Support framework registrations and procurement portal management.
• Research clients, competitors and market opportunities.
