Job summary

AssetCool in the United Kingdom is seeking a commercially astute writer to strengthen the sales support function. You will own inbound enquiries, draft high-quality proposals, and coordinate input from sales, technical and operational colleagues to accelerate submissions.

This mid-career role (~5 years experience) requires turning complex information into clear, persuasive documents, managing deadlines, and building a reusable library of content.

Qualifications

• Approximately five years’ experience in proposals, tenders, bid coordination or a related commercial role.
• Excellent written English; ability to produce concise, persuasive and well-structured documents.
• Strong commercial judgement; understand what customers and procurement teams need from a submission.
• Experience coordinating input from technical specialists and translating detailed material for non-technical readers.
• Excellent attention to detail, document-management skills and deadline discipline.
• Ability to work with CRM systems and structured submission processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound commercial enquiries and coordinate input from sales, technical and operational colleagues.
• Draft, edit and coordinate proposals, tenders, expressions of interest and other commercial submissions.
• Develop clear responses to detailed technical and commercial questionnaires.
• Own supplier onboarding, vendor registration and customer prequalification processes.
• Maintain accurate information across sales docs, portals and internal systems.
• Coordinate deadlines, approvals and stakeholder contributions for submissions.
• Build and maintain a reusable library of proposal content, FAQs, case studies and standard responses.
• Improve proposal templates, workflows and sales-administration processes.
• Support grant applications and other funding submissions when required.
• Ensure customer-facing documents are accurate, persuasive and well-presented.
• Track outstanding actions and move opportunities through the process.
