Job summary

SHI International Corp. UK seeks a Proposal Specialist to support, manage and coordinate bid activity across the UK and Europe, with occasional Asia-Pacific involvement. You will work with sales, contracts and SMEs to deliver compliant, compelling submissions.

Ideal candidates have experience in IT reseller or managed services bids, strong writing skills and APMP awareness, with a focus on quality, timing and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience in bid management, proposal management or bid coordination.
• Experience supporting bids with multiple stakeholders and approval stages.
• Understanding UK and European procurement processes and evaluation criteria.
• APMP Foundation certification is desirable or willingness to obtain it.
• Private sector bid experience preferred; public sector tender experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage the bid lifecycle for UK/European opportunities, with Asia-Pacific involvement.
• Coordinate bid planning: timelines, responsibilities, response structure and checklists.
• Gather inputs from sales, solutions, contracts, finance and SMEs to maintain momentum.
• Assess customer requirements, strategic fit, risk and profitability for bids.
• Develop win themes and messaging highlighting SHI's capabilities.
• Review and edit proposals to ensure compliance and quality.
• Access standard responses and evidence from proposal content libraries.
