Job summary

SHI UK in Milton Keynes is seeking a Proposal Specialist to support and coordinate bid activity across the UK and Europe, including occasional Asia-Pacific opportunities. You will work with sales, solutions, contracts, finance and subject matter experts to deliver compliant, customer-focused proposals.

You will develop win themes, manage timelines, and ensure high-quality content using the existing proposal library, while adhering to APMP practices and boosting efficiency across bids.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in bid management, proposal management or bid coordination within IT reseller/tech services.
• APMP Foundation certification is desirable.
• Private sector bid experience is preferred; public sector tender experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage the UK/European bid lifecycle from qualification to submission.
• Coordinate timelines, responsibilities, and review checkpoints with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with sales, contracts, finance and subject matter experts to gather inputs.
• Develop customer-focused win themes and ensure compliant, well-structured responses.
• Edit content for clarity and quality using the proposal content library.
