Job summary

SHI Corporation UK Limited (SHI UK) is seeking a Bid Manager based in the UK to support and coordinate bid activity across the UK and European markets, with occasional involvement in Asia-Pacific opportunities. You will work with sales, solutions, contracts and SMEs to deliver compliant, customer-focused submissions.

The role offers a developing path in bid management, with emphasis on planning, messaging and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in bid management, proposal management or bid coordination.
• Experience within IT reseller, technology services or managed services environment is preferred.
• Understanding UK and European procurement processes and evaluation criteria.
• APMP Foundation certification is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage the bid lifecycle for UK and European opportunities, with occasional support for Asia-Pacific bid activity.
• Coordinate bid planning activity including timelines, responsibilities, response structure and submission requirements.
• Collaborate with sales, solutions, contracts, finance, operations and SMEs to gather inputs and maintain momentum.
• Contribute to opportunity qualification and bid/no-bid discussions by assessing requirements, fit, risk and profitability.
• Help develop customer-focused win themes and clear response messaging showcasing SHI’s strengths.
• Review, edit and improve proposal content for compliance, accuracy and clarity.
• Utilise content libraries and evidence to improve content quality and consistency across submissions.
