Job summary

Manpower is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our Belfast office. You will manage the full bid lifecycle for mechanical, electrical, energy, and renewable projects, ensuring compelling and compliant submissions for public and private sectors.

The role demands strong bid-writing skills, meticulous attention to detail, and collaboration with subject matter experts. You will lead the preparation and submission of bids, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and continuously improve the bid

• Proven experience in public sector bid management.
• Proven experience in public sector bid writing.
• Excellent time management under tight deadlines.
• Strong organisational skills with accountability and integrity.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for client relationships.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Collaborative approach to team success.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full bid lifecycle from opportunity review to submission.
• Lead preparation and submission of public and private sector bids.
• Produce clear, concise bid content within deadlines.
• Review, edit and enhance bid materials for quality.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather evidence.
• Ensure submissions comply with tender instructions and criteria.
• Prepare materials for bid presentations and interviews.
• Maintain and improve the bid library with case studies and CVs.
• Provide guidance to colleagues to develop bid-writing capabilities.
