Job summary

Major UK Infrastructure organisation seeks a commercially focused Business Performance/BI Analyst to deliver high-quality insight, analysis and performance reporting across the organisation. You will turn customer, revenue and commercial data into clear, actionable recommendations that support effective decision making.

You will regularly interact with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Marketing and Business Development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in analytical, business performance, commercial insight or strategy role.
• Experience producing executive-level reporting and performance commentary.
• Strong capability with large datasets and a track record of identifying actionable insights.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to explain complex analysis clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional partnering.
• Experience in transport, infrastructure or regulated sectors is advantageous.
• Knowledge of customer lifecycle, retention or marketing ROI methodologies.
• Experience using SQL, Databricks or similar platforms and creating dashboards in Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc performance reporting with executive commentary.
• Maintain and enhance KPI reporting, identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Analyse customer segments, behavior, retention and marketing initiatives.
• Lead traffic and revenue forecast development for budgets and reforecasts.
• Maintain financial models and run scenario and sensitivity analyses.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Marketing and Business Development to drive insights.
• Develop Power BI dashboards; improve reporting processes and automate routines.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation and quality assurance; investigate anomalies.
