Job summary

INFORM3 Recruitment is seeking a commercially focused Business Development Manager in Belfast to expand the civils, utilities and infrastructure markets. The role requires building relationships with developers, authorities and contractors, managing opportunities end-to-end, and coordinating with estimating, engineering and delivery teams.

You will develop a robust pipeline, identify new opportunities, and drive revenue growth across a diverse client base within civil engineering and utility

Qualifications

• Experience in business development within construction, civils, utilities or infrastructure.
• Understanding of UK civils market and procurement processes.
• Proven track record in generating new business and building long-term relationships.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
• Experience using CRM and sales platforms.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential customers and commercial opportunities across civils and infrastructure markets.
• Develop and maintain a structured pipeline of new business opportunities.
• Establish relationships with developers, principal contractors, local authorities and utilities.
• Manage opportunities from initial contact through proposal, negotiation and securing the work.
• Collaborate with estimating, commercial, engineering and delivery teams on proposals and tenders.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and update pipeline with activity and timescales.
