Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an Associate in Markets Technology Strategy and Business Management to partner with leadership and solve cross-functional challenges. You will own problems end-to-end, communicate with senior executives, and help shape technology platforms.

The role involves delivering actionable insights across Technology, Finance, HR, Risk & Control, and enterprise governance, with opportunities to influence priorities and reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in strategy, management consulting, or related fields.
• Strong critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
• Excellent executive communication and slide storytelling.
• Advanced PowerPoint and strong Excel skills for analysis and modeling.
• Financial and data acumen, comfortable with budget and headcount data.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across functions.
• High ownership and comfort with ambiguity.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Define and structure cross-functional problems into clear statements and actionable recommendations.
• Execute quantitative and qualitative analysis across data sources; document assumptions and implications.
• Build executive-ready presentations and memos with clear messages and recommendations.
• Develop insights on delivery, investment, resourcing, risks, and KPIs.
• Maintain data quality for reviews, deep dives, and planning cycles.
• Partner with Finance, HR, Risk & Control, and Markets Technology teams to drive priorities.
• Produce insights on org shape, location strategy, attrition, and metrics.
• Support leadership forums by shaping agendas and actions.
• Research industry and tech trends and translate into implications.
