Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an Associate in Markets Treasury to help manage and optimise the financial resources of our Markets business. You will partner with trading desks and stakeholders to drive business results and ensure effective use of balance sheet, capital, liquidity and leverage.

You will develop your expertise, build strong relationships across teams, and contribute to our data and analytics agenda while delivering impactful treasury solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Few years of treasury/trading or financial resource management experience.
• Understanding Basel III RWA, GSIB, liquidity, leverage, and regulatory margins.
• Experience with financing, cash, and derivative products.
• Experience with large data sets and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on financial resource topics.
• Build and maintain relationships with trading desks to understand business needs and drivers of resource consumption.
• Partner with trading desks to optimize financial resource usage.
• Analyze trading desk profitability using key financial metrics.
• Assess impact of regulatory changes and support advocacy efforts.
• Understand competitive landscape across the EMEA region and binding resource constraints for peer banks.
• Provide treasury guidance on financial infrastructure offerings with material resource impact.
• Collaborate with Treasury Data & Analytics, technology, and quant teams.
• Develop and enhance tools and analytics to support business objectives.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to stakeholders.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
