Job summary

Affinity Water is seeking an Asset Risk and Investment Specialist to help identify where investment delivers greatest value while balancing risk, performance, customer outcomes and long-term sustainability.

You will work with Asset Management, Operations, Engineering, and Finance to analyse asset performance, develop risk-based investment recommendations, and support decision-making that keeps our network resilient for the future.

Qualifications

• Experience in asset management, asset health, asset strategy or investment planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in asset deterioration, failure or risk modelling.
• Ability to communicate technical information to a range of audiences.
• Degree-qualified in Engineering, Asset Management, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assess asset health, performance, and risk to support investment decisions.
• Develop and improve asset deterioration and risk models.
• Analyse complex data to identify investment priorities and opportunities.
• Support long-term investment and asset management planning.
• Work with stakeholders across the business to deliver evidence-based recommendations.
• Help optimise investment strategies to maximise value and minimise risk.
