Job summary

Salesforce seeks Deployment Strategists — Strategic Builders to advise customers face-to-face, shaping AI deployment roadmaps across Data Cloud and enterprise systems. You’ll lead end-to-end engagements, guide architecture, and drive measurable adoption for enterprise clients.

Responsibilities include defining AI strategies, coordinating with engineers, managing timelines, and ensuring value realization throughout the lifecycle. Travel to customer sites is 25% of the time.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years experience in strategic solutioning, technical advisory, or delivery leadership for enterprise cloud or SaaS tech.
• Degree from Computer Science or related field required.
• Prior customer-facing delivery experience is required (consulting, professional services, or technical advisory).
• Demonstrated understanding of Salesforce platform and ecosystem, including Agentic AI capabilities and Data Cloud.
• Programming knowledge: Python, JavaScript, Java, or Apex.
• Ability to lead ambiguous engagements end-to-end—from discovery to outcomes.
• Experience with AI/LLM solution design and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customer engagement across the value lifecycle—Identify, Commit, Deploy, Consume.
• Define customer Agentic AI strategy and roadmap; run design workshops and jobs-to-be-done analysis.
• Manage delivery timelines, stakeholder communication, risk, and progress reporting.
• Own adoption and expansion metrics within engagement scope; remove blockers to value realization.
• Coordinate with Forward Deployed Engineers to align strategy with execution.
• Develop customer solutions using AI tools, including Cursor and Claude.
• Assess AI readiness and guide change management for intelligent agents.
