Job summary

Anticus Recruitment Ltd in Oldham is seeking a Sales Account Manager to lead growth across key accounts in global markets. You will maintain and expand business with major customers in sectors such as nuclear, power, energy, marine and defence.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, commercial acumen and experience in B2B sales with distributor networks. Hybrid working is offered with a market-competitive package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical B2B sales, account management or business development.
• Experience in power generation, marine, industrial equipment, infrastructure or defence sectors preferred.
• English proficiency required; proficiency in other languages (e.g., French, Mandarin, German) a plus.
• Experience with distributor networks.
• Understanding export controls and secure supply chains is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Account Management & Business Development across designated territory.
• Deliver sales targets from enquiry to contract award.
• Develop growth plans for strategic accounts and sectors.
• Manage relationships with end users, engineers, distributors and partners; conduct regular visits.
• Build relationships with engineering, procurement, operations and senior management.
• Prepare quotes; negotiate contracts and long-term supply arrangements.
• Support marketing campaigns, exhibitions and industry events.
• Develop new business opportunities in international territories and establish partnerships.
• Identify, recruit and manage distributor and agent networks.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, quality and logistics to ensure on-time execution.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and opportunities.

HNC/HND
