Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operator for a 3-month contract at their Leicestershire site. You will support manufacturing operations with handling, storage and preparation of materials to meet production and customer requirements.

You will receive, inspect and store deliveries, pick and pack orders, operate forklifts, maintain stock records, and participate in cycle counts while keeping the warehouse clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Forklift license (counterbalance) required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Physically capable of lifting, moving and handling materials.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and store incoming deliveries in line with procedures.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for internal production and external shipment.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Maintain records through stock checks and inventory updates.
• Support regular cycle counts and stocktakes.

About the Role
