Job summary

Driver Hire in Sandbach is seeking an experienced Stores Operative with a valid FLT Reach and Counterbalance certificate to join their fabrication team. You will pick and sort steel parts, organize stock in the stores area, and safely operate the FLT for material handling.

Typical shifts are 6:00–14:00, Monday to Friday, at a rate of £14.30 per hour. The role requires accuracy, reliability, and good teamwork in a busy fabrication environment.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and sorting steel parts in a busy fabrication environment.
• Organising and managing stock within the stores area.
• Operating a Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) for material handling.
• Ensuring all health and safety protocols are followed within the warehouse.

Requirements:

• FLT Reach and Counterbalance certificate is a must.

Shift Pattern & Pay Rate:

• 6-2 shift: Monday to Thursday 06:00 to 14:00 hours and Friday 06:00 to 12:00 hours - pay rate £14.30 per hour
