• Carry out stock checks and inventory control.
• Report stock discrepancies and store materials correctly.

We are excited to offer a new Stores Operative opportunity with a busy and well-established fabrication company in Mildenhall, Suffolk. This is a great opportunity to join an expanding team, with full training available and the chance to progress into a supervisory role for the right person!

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a stores, warehouse or manufacturing environment. A valid FLT Counterbalance licence is desirable but not essential, as the company may be able to offer refresher training for the right candidate.

Pay & Hours:

• £13.50 – £15.00+ per hour, depending on experience
• Regular overtime available at enhanced rates
• Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:30
• Flexible working hours available

Main Stores Operative Duties:

• Receiving, checking and storing deliveries
• Issuing materials and components to production as required
• Operating a counterbalance forklift to move stock safely around the site
• Supporting general site operations and production activities
• Keeping stock areas organised, tidy and safe
• Carrying out stock checks and supporting inventory control
• Reporting stock discrepancies and ensuring materials are stored correctly
