Job summary

The Stores Operative - MGU Factory role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring materials are received, stored and supplied accurately. You will work closely with Production and Supply Chain teams to maintain efficient material flow and stock traceability on the production floor.

You will also assist on the production line from time to time, undertake stock checks, use ERP systems for stock movements, and help uphold 5S standards and health and safety procedures across stores and

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stores/warehouse/manufacturing or supply chain.
• Good IT skills and ERP experience.
• Strong numerical and organisational skills.
• Understanding of stock control and material handling.
• Awareness of Health & Safety requirements.
• Attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
• Experience handling inventory within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

The Stores Operative - MGU Factory will play an important role in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring materials, components and stock are received, stored and supplied accurately throughout the facility. Working closely with Production and Supply Chain teams, you will help maintain efficient material flow while supporting day-to-day manufacturing activities.

This role also offers the opportunity to provide support on the production line, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied, hands-on position within a manufacturing environment.

The Stores Operative - MGU Factory will:

• Receive, check and book in deliveries of materials and components.
• Manage stock movements and transactions within the ERP system.
• Store materials in the correct locations while maintaining traceability and stock accuracy.
