Job summary

INDMAN is seeking a Stores Operative in Reading to join a busy manufacturing environment. The role involves receiving and checking goods, kitting for production, picking and issuing parts, and packing finished items for dispatch.

You will keep stock records accurate and support ERP/MRP processes to ensure smooth material flow. We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, experience with stock control, and a practical, hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock receiving, kitting and picking in a factory setting.
• Familiar with ERP/MRP systems and accurate data entry.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain stock records.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and checking incoming goods and materials.
• Kitting for production using bill of materials.
• Picking and issuing parts and materials to production.
• Packing and preparing finished goods for dispatch.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and completing stock checks.
• Logging and ensuring ERP is accurate.
• Packing goods to be delivered to customers.
• Keeping the stores and warehouse areas clean, safe and organised.

Hours: Monday - Friday 14:30-23:00
