Job summary

Orion Electrotech Ltd is seeking a proactive Stores Operative in Reading to join a busy manufacturing team. You will manage stock, assist with kitting, pick and issue parts, and prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring ERP accuracy and tidy stock records. This role runs Monday to Friday with a 14:30-23:00 shift and £13.00 per hour rate.

The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, experience with stock control, and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems to keep materials flowing efficiently.

Qualifications

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident dealing with stock, part numbers and documentation.
• Previous Stores experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and checking incoming goods and materials.
• Kitting for production using bill of materials.
• Picking and issuing parts and materials to production.
• Packing and preparing finished goods for dispatch.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and completing stock checks.
• Logging and ensuring ERP is accurate.
• Packing goods to be delivered to customers.
• Keeping the stores and warehouse areas clean, safe and organised.
