Job Advert in Mildenhall, Suffolk is seeking a Stores Operative to join a busy fabrication site. Full training available and a clear path to supervisory roles for the right person.

The role involves handling deliveries, issuing materials to production, operating a counterbalance forklift, and keeping stock areas safe and well-organised. Regular overtime and flexible hours are on offer.

Formación

• Experience in stores, warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• FLT Counterbalance licence desirable but not essential, refresher training may be offered.

Responsabilidades

• Receiving, checking and storing deliveries.
• Issuing materials and components to production as required.
• Operating a counterbalance forklift to move stock safely around the site.
• Supporting general site operations and production activities.
• Keeping stock areas organised, tidy and safe.
• Carrying out stock checks and supporting inventory control.
• Reporting stock discrepancies and ensuring materials are stored correctly.

We are excited to offer a new Stores Operative opportunity with a busy and well-established fabrication company in Mildenhall, Suffolk. This is a great opportunity to join an expanding team, with full training available and the chance to progress into a supervisory role for the right person!

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a stores, warehouse or manufacturing environment. A valid FLT Counterbalance licence is desirable but not essential, as the company may be able to offer refresher training for the right candidate.

Pay & Hours:

• £13.50 - £15.00+ per hour, depending on experience
• Regular overtime available at enhanced rates
• Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30
• Flexible working hours available
