Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. in Leicester is seeking an experienced Stores Operative to manage engineering stores and stock control within a busy manufacturing environment.

This permanent role offers an immediate start and features responsibilities around goods in/out, accurate records, and maintaining a tidy, compliant stores area. You should have proven stores experience in engineering/manufacturing, be computer literate, and capable of working with stock control systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a stores role within engineering or manufacturing.
• Able to work with stock control systems.
• Computer literate and able to use basic software.
• Counter Balance FLT license is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering stores and stock control.
• Keep records up to date and accurate.
• Handle goods in and goods out processes.
• Maintain tidy stores and ensure correct storage locations.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies.

Are you an experienced store operative with experience of working within an engineering or manufacturing environment?

Are you thinking about looking at a new opportunity within a recently purchased company who are moving to larger, new and improved facilities?

I am working with a well established Leicester company who have been recently acquired by a much large organisation. Due to investment and exciting future plans they are now expanding their operations in Leicester by adding new people and moving into a new larger premises

The Role

• Responsible for the engineering stores and stock control


• Ensure all records are up to date and accurate


• Take responsibility for goods in and goods out


• Ensure all stores are tidy, and everything is where it needs to be


• Make sure full compliance with Health & Safety


• Ensure all raw materials and finished products are stored and packed securely to avoid damage

About You

• Proven experience of working in a stores role within Engineering or Manufacturing


• Able to work with stock control systems


• Physically fit


• Excellent communication skills
  
• Computer literate


• Counter Balance FLT License (not essential)
