Job summary

Rubix UKII is recruiting a permanent, full-time Stores/Stock Controller to join our team. You will attend production and engineering meetings to understand priorities and will work with customer site teams to manage stock and maximise margin.

The role requires building strong relationships, juggling priorities, and working independently. A driving licence is essential, and forklift training is available if needed.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily/weekly production and engineering meetings to understand initiatives and priorities at the site.
• Follow agreed stores management services and processes with customer site teams.
• Deliver levels of customer service against the agreement and site KPIs.
• Ensure clear understanding of stores management processes.
• Work with site teams to plan and manage stock according to site requirements.

The Role

• Permanent

Reporting into the Insite Manager, you will be a pivotal part of the Insite team and its success so get ready to be in demand. Ideally you will have some background in manufacturing, MRO, PPE or a trade counter environment, however full training will be provided so don’t let this stop you from applying!

We support our customers to ensure they have all the parts, spares and tooling they need to operate as well as working hard to ensure we obtain the best deals with suppliers.

Being a well organised individual, you will develop relationships with relevant stakeholders including, where necessary, engineering managers, procurement managers and facilities managers whilst also helping to identify opportunities for revenue growth and margin improvement for Rubix.

In an ideal world it would be great for you to have knowledge of our products and services, but this isn’t essential. What is important is that you have experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• When required, attendance at daily/weekly production and engineering meetings to understand initiatives and priorities at the site
• Following agreed stores management services and processes with customer site teams
• Consistent delivery of agreed levels of customer service, against the formal agreement, encompassing the agreed site specific KPIs and target.
• Ensure clear understanding of stores management processes
• Work with site teams to plan and manage stock in line with customer site specific requirements.
