About the Role:
An important customer facing role within our Insite Operations, providing country-wide support to our teams as and when required. Predominantly delivering absence cover for our Insite Managers, sometimes at short notice.
There is a significant amount of travel and staying away from home as the role involves supporting the full profile of Insites.
- Act as the primary point of contact in the absence of the Insite Manager, including attending engineering meetings with the customer.
- Support in resolving escalated issues and ensure satisfactory outcomes for both the customer and Rubix.
- Provide guidance to ensure KPIs and customer expectations are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Represent Rubix in customer-facing situations, ensuring professional and effective communication.
- Negotiate prices and delivery terms with suppliers and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
- Identify and drive Value Add opportunities.
- Oversee and perform stock ordering, quality stock cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations.
- Identify and communicate risks such as supplier obsolescence and recommend solutions to mitigate impact.
- Maintain an accurate and up to date orderbook, ensuring timely order placement and delivery.
- Maintain and handover accurate records of inventory, transactions, and supplier communications.
- Ensure timely and clear responses to customer and supplier enquiries.
- Receive, understand, and complete the site handover document accurately and on time, ensuring all site requirements are reviewed before the visit.
- Regular staying away from home required – location all dependent on which sites require support.
- Please note we have support staff based across the UK and will endeavour to keep staff as close to home as possible, BUT, this is a role that requires national travel.

Key Skills, Experience & Requirements:
- Experience in in a customer-facing operational or administrative role, preferably in the MRO, engineering, or supply chain sectors.
- Proven experience in delivering exceptional customer service, with a strong focus on understanding customer needs, resolving issues effectively, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and processes.
- Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain principles.
- Competence in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and ERP systems.
- Experience in resolving escalated issues and working directly with customers and suppliers. Collaboration
