British Engineering Services Group is seeking a Stores Operative in Cowes on the Isle of Wight. You will manage the day-to-day stores operations, including receipt, storage and kitting of materials for production, while ensuring accurate Sage system transactions and inventory records.

You will also uphold health and safety requirements and participate in cycle counts, with opportunities for flexible working and access to our employee benefits portal.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or inventory controlled environment.
• Good understanding of stock control and inventory management principles.
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering and logistics environments.

Responsabilités

• Receive, store and kit materials for production.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in Sage.
• Complete cycle counts and maintain stock accuracy.
• Ensure health and safety compliance within the stores.
• Coordinate with other departments to support production.

What will you be doing?

As a Stores Operative you will be responsible the day to day operations of the stores function, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, control and kitting of materials for production usage

You will also be responsible for ensuring that Sage system transactions are completed efficiently and accurately to maintain accurate inventory records.

Within the role of Stores Operative role, you will also be accountable for adherence to all company Health and Safety requirements.

The Stores Operative is also responsible for completing and recording cycle counts.
