Job summary

Interaction Engineering is seeking a reliable Stores Person to join our busy team. You will ensure materials, stock and equipment are available when needed and maintain an efficient, well-organised stores environment.

The role involves receiving deliveries, maintaining stock records, and liaising with suppliers. A proactive, detail‑oriented candidate with good IT skills and health and safety awareness will excel.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stores, warehouse, stock control or similar role.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, organised and proactive Stores Person to join our busy and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining an efficient, well-organised stores environment and ensuring materials, stock and equipment are available when needed.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations, managing stock levels and ensuring goods are received, stored and issued accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, check and process incoming deliveries, ensuring goods match delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels.
• Organise and maintain the stores area, ensuring it remains clean, tidy and safe.
• Pick, prepare and issue materials and components for production and installation teams.
• Monitor stock levels and identify when items need to be reordered.
• Carry out regular stock checks and assist with periodic stocktakes.
• Liaise with suppliers, couriers and internal departments regarding deliveries and stock requirements.
• Ensure all goods are stored correctly and handled safely.
• Report discrepancies, damaged goods and stock shortages promptly.
• Follow company procedures relating to health and safety, manual handling and stock control.

About You

We are looking for someone who is dependable, practical and has a strong eye for detail.
