Job summary

Prime Appointments is seeking a Stores Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds. Own transport is required. You will manage stock, plan ahead and ensure the stores operation runs smoothly.

A valid FLT Counterbalance licence and previous warehouse experience are essential. The role involves receiving and checking deliveries, maintaining accurate stock records, and keeping the stores area tidy.

Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, own transportation is required.

We're looking for someone organised and proactive, who can manage stock, plan ahead and keep the stores operation running smoothly.Previous warehouse or stores experience is essential, along with a valid FLT Counterbalance licence.

Stores Operative Duties:

• Managing stock levels and arranging orders when needed
• Receiving, checking and organising deliveries
• Keeping accurate stock records and inventory
• Using an FLT Counterbalance to move and store goods
• Planning ahead to ensure materials are available
• Keeping the stores area tidy and organised

Pay, Hours & Benefits:

• Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00.
• £14.50 per hour.
• 30-minute unpaid lunch break and 2 × 15-minute unpaid tea breaks.
• Temporary ongoing assignment
