Job summary

Prime Appointments Ltd are recruiting a Stores Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds. You will manage stock, receive deliveries and keep accurate records, using an FLT Counterbalance to move goods.

The role is Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, paying £14.50 per hour. A valid Counterbalance licence and prior stores experience are essential; the ideal candidate is organised, proactive and able to work independently.

Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, own transportation is required.

We're looking for someone organised and proactive, who can manage stock, plan ahead and keep the stores operation running smoothly.Previous warehouse or stores experience is essential, along with a valid FLT Counterbalance licence.

Stores Operative Duties:

• Managing stock levels and arranging orders when needed
• Receiving, checking and organising deliveries
• Keeping accurate stock records and inventory
• Using an FLT Counterbalance to move and store goods
• Planning ahead to ensure materials are available
• Keeping the stores area tidy and organised

Pay, Hours & Benefits:

• Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00.
• £14.50 per hour.
• 30-minute unpaid lunch break and 2 x 15-minute unpaid tea breaks.
• Temporary ongoing assignment
