Job summary

Orion Electrotech is seeking a reliable Stores Operative in the Bassingbourn area to join its supply chain team. The role focuses on picking, packing, dispatch, and maintaining efficient stores to support production and customer deliveries.

You will use ERP systems, keep stock records up to date, organize daily dispatches for UK and international customers, and ensure stock accuracy while complying with quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, warehouse, logistics or inventory environments.
• Proven picking, packing and dispatch experience.
• Experience using ERP or inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and issuing materials to production.
• Organising daily dispatch activities and preparing shipments for UK and international customers.
• Booking goods in and out, maintaining stock records and updating ERP systems.

Job description

An established manufacturing and engineering business is looking for a reliable and organised Stores Operative to join its Supply Chain team. This is a hands‑on role focused on picking and packing, coordinating dispatch activities, maintaining an efficient stores area, and ensuring materials are available to support production and customer deliveries.

The role of aStores Operative will include:

• Picking, packing and issuing materials to production
• Organising daily dispatch activities and preparing shipments for UK and international customers
